I’m Heading Back to Abilities Expo Orlando — This Time as an Entrepreneur 💙
Abilities Expo has been part of my journey for years. I’ve attended the Expo, served as an Abilities Expo Ambassador, and was invited to participate with my own interactive art experience, where I had the opportunity to paint, create, and connect directly with members of the disability community.
This year, I’m returning to Abilities Expo Orlando, October 9–11, 2026, at the Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida, with another exciting chapter of that journey: as an entrepreneur and founder of Blue Entity.
Blue Entity brings together my lived experience as a disabled woman, international accessibility experiences, advocacy work, speaking, education, technology, and business consulting. Through the company, I’m building a growing network of organizations, businesses, disability advocates, service providers, technology companies, hospitality professionals, educators, municipalities, and community partners who believe accessibility should be built into the experience from the beginning.
Let’s Connect at Abilities Expo
One of my biggest goals at this year’s Expo is to meet organizations and individuals who are interested in working together, collaborating, creating partnerships, or exploring new accessibility initiatives.
Blue Entity works across several areas, including:
- Accessibility consulting and customer/guest experience
- BlueAccess digital accessibility technology
- Speaking, workshops, and accessibility education
- Accessibility resources, partnerships, and community initiatives
If your company or organization will be at Abilities Expo Orlando from October 9–11, I would love to learn more about what you are building and discuss where our work may align.
A Special Abilities Expo Connection Offer
For organizations that connect with me through Abilities Expo, I’m also offering a complimentary Accessibility Snapshot, a Blue Entity service beginning at an $800+ value.
The Snapshot can explore a selected digital experience, customer or guest experience, accessibility communications, or another accessibility area that makes sense for your organization.
This isn’t about handing everyone the same recommendation. I want to have meaningful conversations, understand what organizations are working toward, and determine where there may be an opportunity for us to create something valuable together.
My Experience
My work is deeply connected to lived experience. I have navigated the world as a disabled traveler, entrepreneur, artist, author, speaker, service-animal handler, and accessibility advocate.
I’ve spoken and shared my work with organizations and communities through national events, universities, corporations, media appearances, disability organizations, and accessibility initiatives. Every experience has reinforced something I strongly believe:
Accessibility is not one department, one feature, or one accommodation. It is part of the entire experience.
That philosophy is at the center of what I’m building through Blue Entity.
Interested in Connecting?
If you’ll be at Abilities Expo Orlando, October 9–11, 2026, at Osceola Heritage Park Events Center in Kissimmee, Florida, send me a message before the event so we can coordinate a time to meet.
And if we discover that our organizations are a strong mutual fit, I’d love to explore ways we can collaborate, partner, create accessibility initiatives, or build something meaningful together.
